New Feature: Duplicate Attendance

We’re about to announce a whole bunch of new functionality our engineers have been working on all spring. The first of this came out today, which includes some enhancements to the attendance picker.
You can read our May 2016 Release Notes and see the latest changes. We’ve added the ability for you to be now able to click ‘Duplicate’ on any attendance row, which will make another period for that member, and automatically set the date to the next day.
Users can now quickly duplicate attendance rows. The new rows created automatically advance by one day, and carry over attendance information (role, times). This is fantastic for adding multi-day periods to an activity, for example if an event or exercise has multiple days or an incident has multiple operational periods.
As per the below screenshot, you can also bulk duplicate members by adding them all once, then Select All, then Bulk Actions > Duplicate. This will create a second day for everyone with the same times.
24 Hour Warning
Matching the addition of the above, we now alert users if they set an attendance period of more than 24hrs. Ideally this would be split into the multiple days rather than set in one large chunk. Of course you can override it too and continue to add the large period without difficulty.
There’s a lot more coming in announcement in the next few weeks, stand-by!
