We are getting close to the first customer release of our Real-Time Operational Platform. This is groundbreaking stuff - how do you even start building something like this? You gather the worlds best team with the full spectrum of design, engineering, business skills, and domain expertise.
As we start to transfer our vision from an engineering project to a hardened enterprise offering we took the opportunity to spend a few days on the shores of Lough Ree (without wifi or cell-signal) in Ireland with our Heads of Sales, Business Development, Engineering, and Product.
Taking something from product to enterprise solution is a big asking. It's got to have market fit, it's got to know where its budget lies, it's got to be a frictionless sell, and the IT Department have to like it.
How does it integrate with other systems? How is it extensible? How do you build on the platform? Who can distribute it? Where can it be distributed? There's a huge number of moving parts - and the teams did a great job of making order and finding the business opportunities in a historically old market currently in technical enhancement chaos.
We're almost there, stay with us - and such a huge thanks to those who've contributed their knowledge so far.
For all those looking, we'd highly recommend the Killinure Chalets & Restaurant (and go with the T-Bone Steak!).
